Abstract:A series of experiments were carried out in the laboratory, glasshouse and in the field. The seeds used in the experiments included perennial ryegrass (Lolium perenne), tall fescue (Festuca arundinacea) and bluegrass (Poa pratensis), three cultivars of each species.
