Abstract:Net Primary Productivity (NPP) is an important variable in the studies of the carbon cycle and in natural resource managements at regional and global scales. The Monteith type parametric model, C-FIX is used to estimate the NPP of the terrestrial ecosystems in western China (73°~112°E, 26°~50°N) in 2002.
