Abstract:A solution culture experiment was conducted to study the dynamics of dry matter accumulation and N,P,K absorption by flue-cured tobacco under different boron concentration. The results indicated that the dynamics of dry matter accumulation and N,P,K uptake of flue-cured tobacco could be described by logistic curve equation. The time for fastest dry matter accumulation and nutrient uptake was different for shoots and roots of flue-cured tobacco. The time for maximum increase rations(MIR) of dry matter on shoots was later than that of the highest absorption rations(HAR) of N,P,K when BO33- concentration was 0—200 mg/L.The time of MIR of dry matter on roots was earlier than that of HAR of N,P,K,in each treatment. The MIR of dry matter and the HAR of N,P,K was pronounced higher than other treatments when BO33- concentration was 0.25—2.00 mg/L and the time of MIR of dry matter and the time of HAR of N,P and K was comparatively later.
