摘 要 ：玉兰育种工作在我国尚处在起步阶段，现所采用的育种方法有：（1）在栽培繁殖过程中选择天然优良变异品种，现已根据花色，花型，花期选出10多个新品种；（2）通过人工杂交育种，现已获得三批杂交实生苗；人工杂交主要需克服花期不遇的困难，在杂种实生苗的管理上采用适当多次移栽和嫁接的方法，使实生苗提早开花，缩短育种年限 ；（3）物理，化学诱变，遗传工程，生物技术在玉兰育种中运用的较少。
