Abstract:‘Shiji Pear’ is a new early ripening and highly yielding variety selected from a single mutant line discovered in the Xiangqiu Pear Garden in Jinzhou City, Hebei Province. Its fruit has the nearly round or oblate shape with green-yellow skin. The average single fruitmass is 200 g, the maximum is 350 g. The soluble solid matter content is about 14.16%. The fresh has a sweet taste with light sour. It has high qualities ripened from the late July to the early October, and resistant to Pear Scab.
