Abstract:The author made a survery of the drug Fangfeng in drug market in 17 provinces and municipalities as well as the plant origin in drug producing districts in China.The result revealed that the drug Fangfeng used in most districts as present is derived from the root of Saposhnikovia divaricata.But in Yunnan,Sichuan,Henan,Qinghai and certain other districts,roots of other ten Umbelliferous plants are also used as Fangfeng.A key for identifying the above plants is presented.
