Abstract:Theefectsofmixedfermentationconditionsonproductionofpoly(γglutamicacid)(γPGA)
wereinvestigatedina10Lfermentor.Theresultshowedthatthetemperaturewasanimportantfactorfor
theγPGAproduction.Withthetemperatureadjustingfrom32℃ to37℃ at6hintheprocessofculti
vation,theγPGAproductionwasenhanced.Furthermore,theexperimentsofoptimizinginoculationvol
umeofCorynebacteriumglutamicumandBacilussubtilis,pHanddissolvedoxygenwereperformedtoin
creasetheγPGAproduction.ThehigherγPGAproductionwasobtainedwhentheinoculationvolumeof
C.glutamicumandB.subtilis,pHanddissolvedoxygenwereadjustedto5%,0.5%,7.0,and20%,
respectively.Undertheoptimalcultureconditions,afinalγPGAconcentrationof38.3g/Lwasob
tainedafter32hfermentation.
