Abstract:lppm Nd3+ promoted the α-amylase activity induced by gibberellic acid at concentrations from 10-9 to 10-7 mol/L in, embryoless. wheat seed The activity of α-amylase in the seed treated with lppm Nd3+ and 10-8 mol/L GA3 was 70% more than that just treated with GA3. Nd3+(lppm) did not induce α-amylase activity and did not affect the enzyme activity in vitro, but it shortened the stagnant time of GA3 action. It abo decreased the electroconductivity of the medium in which the embryoless seeds were cultured.
