Abstract:We optimized enzyme assisted ethanol extraction of total flavonoids from peony episperm. We studied the effects of factors including enzymolysis temperature, enzyme content, enzymolysis pH, enzymolysis time on the extraction rates of total flavonoids by singlefactor and orthogonal test. The optimal extraction conditions were after enzyming pretreatment under the pectinase content of 0.05 mg·mL-1, enzymolysis temperature of 45℃, enzymolysis pH of 4.5, enzymolysis time of 180 min, total flavonoids yield was up to 74.839 mg·g-1.Compared with the traditional ethanol extraction, the total flavonoids yield was improved significantly.
