Abstract:The characteristics of fluorine absorption and accumulation of four different tea tree varieties were evaluated. One year old clone seedlings of the tea plant varieties were used to study the differences of fluorine absorption kinetics parameters and the fluorine cumulate ability under the aquicultural cultivation. In the low fluorine growth condition, the absorption of fluorine by the tea plants is in the kinetic equation of Michaelis-Menten, which indicates that the course of fluorine absorption in tea plant roots is an active course, and the cumulative ability of fluorine in tea plants is in the order: mature leaves>> roots> stems. With the increase of fluorine content in the solution, the passive absorption course is showed gradually, and the cumulative ability of fluorine in tea plants is in the order: mature leaves >> stems> roots. The variety, ZC 102, has different fluorine cumulate ability and resistance compared with the variety, ZC 108. ZC 108 has a stable low fluorine cumulate ability and low fluorine survival ability, while ZC 102 has a high fluorine cumulate ability and high fluorine survival ability. The variety, LJ 43 has a middle fluorine cumulate ability and middle fluorine survival ability. These results indicate ZC 108 can be extended as a low content fluorine variety in brick tea production area.
