Abstract:Proceeding from the most important spatial layers in forest-hydrology ecological function, i. e. forest canopy, forest litter and forest soil, the potential impacts of climatechange on geographical patterns of forest rainfall interception were simulated by means ofGIS. The future climatic change scenario of China in 2030 was projected according to theseven GCMs. The canopy rainfall interception model and integrated rainfall interceptionmodel of forest ecosystems were established to predict the likely changes in forest rainfallinterception in response to future climate change by using the lDRISI - GIS.
