Abstract:Four ergosterols, among which three are peroxides were isolated from the methanol ex-tract of the fungus Cryptoporus volvatus. Assignments of their 1H and 13C NMR resonance were achieved by the aid of 2D NMR experiments as well as comparison with reported data. And a possible biogenetic pathway for these compounds was proposed.
