Abstract:Objective:To study the chemical constituents of Forsythia suspensa. Method:Basedon silicacolumn chromatography,of which six compounds were obtained from the alcohol extract of F.suspensa, three identified by physico chemical and spectroscopic analyses.Result:The three compounds were identified as stearic acid, palmitic acid and β sitosterol.Conclusion:The three compounds were separated from F. suspensa fruits for the first time.
