Abstract:Leaf calli of two cyclamen cultivars, ‘Victoria’ and ‘Dahong’ were inoculated on 12 kinds of media supplemented with of 6-BA and NAA. Five types of regenerated organs appeared, including adventitious bud point, multiple-bud bulb, multiple-leaf new shoot, single-bud bulb and leaf-like bud clump. Tests were made on proliferative stability of different regenerated organs and multiple-bud bulbs and multiple-leaf new shoost of ‘Dahong’ were more stable in continued culture. Compared with multiple-leaf new shoots, multiple-bud bulbs showed high proliferative rate and were ideal for
continued culture. Single-bud bulbs and leaf-like bud clumps were abnormal regenerated organs. Multiple-bud bulbs and multiple-leaf new shoots of ‘Victoria’ were instability in continued culture
and they were liable to produce abnormal organs.
