Abstract:Experiment was designed to investigate the expression of heat shock proteins (HSPs) in hypocotyls of Phaseolus vulgaris L. and HSPs localization on cell membranes by means of 35S-Met labelling, fluorography of SDS-PAGE and 2-D electrophoresis. The results showed that 70 kD group HSPs were the major labelled proteins and the small HSPs accumulate largely in the fractions of plasma membrane and tonoplast membrane.
