Abstract:KitasatosporaspMY536wasusedastheteststraintostudykineticmodelsoffedbatchfer
mentationforcelgrowth,εpolylysineproductionandtotalsugarconsumption.Theparameterswereob
tainedwithnonlinearcurvefitbyOrigin81.Theresultshowedthatthedrycelweightandεpolylysine
yieldreached1625and1315g/L,respectively,andthefermentationmodeofMY536wasthepartial
growthassociatedtype.Theparametersofthekineticmodelsweredeterminedwithtypicalexperimental
data.Thefitingdegreeswere0999,0995,and0992,respectively.Thegoodagreementofpredicted
valueswiththeexperimentalresultsshowedthatthekineticmodelscouldprovidereasonabledescriptions
fortheprocessofεpolylysinefedbatchfermentation
