Abstract:The concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls were determined in water, surface sediments and fish from freshwater fishponds in four different sites of Pearl River Delta regions in China. Results showed that the concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls ranged from 8.0 to 24.03 ng·L~(-1) in water, 7.32 to 36.23 ng·g~(-1) (dry weight) in sediments and 80.01 to 191.66 ng·g~(-1) (lipid weight) in fish.
