Abstract:Nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) are the essential nutrition elements which play an important role in the process of rice growth and the formation of the yield and quality. How to improve the utilization of N, P and K fertilizer under an intensive rice production system is a hot and difficult issue. This paper reviewed the function and genetic characteristics of the N, P and K in rice, it aims to provide a reference for breeding rice varieties with N, P and K high use efficiency.
