Abstract:A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of urea, zinc sulfate and manganese sulfate combined application on yield and quality of Chinese cabbage (Brassica chinensis var.communis T.et L) in calcareous cinnamon soil of Shanxi province with the design of ordinary second order rotational regression of three factors. The results showed that under application of P and K as basal fertilizer, the effect of N, Zn, Mn on cabbage yield was N> Zn> Mn., however over N rate the yield and quality decreased sharply. Combined application of N and Zn, Mn could increased yield and improved the quality of Chinese cabbage. The optimum application rates was urea 288.2-446.4 kg/hm2, zinc sulfate 60.8- 118.9kg/hm2, manganese sulfate 67.5-127.2 kg/hm2 under this experiment conditions.
