Abstract:During the course ofour studies on the biologically active con-stituents of Rabdosia plants,seven diterpenoids were isolated from the ether extract of the leaves ofRabdosia eriocalyx (Dunn) Hara var .laxifiora C.Y.Wu et H.LI COLLECTED FROM Xishuangbanna in Yunnan province.Four of them haem have been established as eriocalyxin B (=ent -6α,7α-dihydroxy-7β,20-epoxykaur-16-en -2, 3-ethenylene-l, 15-dione)(1) ,maoecrystai A(-ent-6α-hydroxy-15α-acetoxy-3β 20-epocalyxin-16-en-l,7-dione)(2,maoecrystal B(=ent-6α,7α-dihydroxy-15α-acetoxy-7β,20-epoxy-kaur-16-en-2,3-ethenylene-l-one)(3), and oridonin (4)from spectroscopic data,respectively.
