Abstract:Objective:To study the chemical constituents in Aquilegia oxysepala.Method:Various chromatographic techniques were used to separate and purify the constituents.The structures were determined by spectral analysis and chemical evidence.Result:Five flavonoids were isolated from the plant and identified as genkwanin,apigenin,luteonlin,swertisin and tilianin.Conclusion:All these compounds were isolated from the plant for the first time.
