Abstract:The arrhythmia induced with aconitine in rats can be completely provented and cured by intravenous, oral or duodena administration of the water-soluble fraction of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata. The antiarrhythmic potency rises with the increase of the dose. In the case of arrhythmias induced by atrophanthinum G in guinea pigs and ventricule fibrillation elicited by CHCl3 in mice, however, it appears in effective.
