Abstract:Objective : To study the feasibility of ginsenoside Rg1 administrated from nasal route. Method : The safty of ginsenoside Rg1 was evaluated by testing cilia movement of the in situ toad palate model. The stability of ginsenoside Rg1 to nasal enzymes and pH was evaluated by HPLC method. Nasal circulatory perfusion test in vivo had been empolyed to investigated absorption effect of ginsenoside Rg1 from nasal mucosa. Result : Ginsenoside Rg1 was safe to the cilia movement. Meanwhile, it‘s stable to nasal enzymes and pH. Ginsenoside Rg1 can be absorbed from nasal route. Conclution : It‘s feasible to adminstrated ginsenoside Rg1 from nasal route.
