Abstract:To clarify the effects of environmental factors on development of overwintering Setora postornata (Hampson), this paper dealt with the effect of individual factor of temperature, soil moisture, and soil depths on the eclosion of overwintering individuals. The optimum range of the temperature for the adults eclosion was from 20℃ to 30℃, with the highest eclosion proportion 75% at 30℃. The eclosion proportion was from 50%-65% on the soil moisture from 10%-40%, while the adults can not emerged on the soil moisture 50% up. Both of the linear regression method and the Logisitic method suited for analyzing the relationship between eclosion schedule and temperature, and the terminal eclosion schedule on 30℃ was the earliest data by linear regression method, which was 30th, May.
