Abstract:A quantitative method was developed for the determination of puerarin in Gegen Qinglian Tablets by reversed phase HPLC. Chromatographic conditions included column ODS-C18,column temperature: 35 C,UV detec- tor: 250nm. mobile phase: EtOH-H2O (23:77). flow rate: 1ml/min. The number of theoretical plates calculated for puerarin peak was no less than 2000. The standard curve was linear in the concentration range of 5~80μg/ml. and the correlation coefficient was 0.9999. The average recovery and the relative standard deviation were 97.6% and 1.8% respectivily.
