investigatedtheecologicalresponsesofdifferentmaturity犔犲狔犿狌狊犮犺犻狀犲狀狊犻狊seeds(24,29,34and39days
afterblooming)onthesaltstress.Resultsshowedthatthegerminationresponsesof犔犲狔犿狌狊犮犺犻狀犲狀狊犻狊
seedstosaltstressgreatlydifferedfromdifferentmaturationtimes.Seedsat39daysafterbloominghad
thehighestvigorandthebestquality.Thegerminationpercentage,germinationenergy,recoverypercent
ageandtotalgerminationpercentageweresuperiortoothers.Inaddition,thegerminationrecoveryper
centageoftheseedbeforegerminationtreatedbysalinitystressincreasescomparedwithnotreated.This
maybeanadaptivestrategyofseedgerminationtosaltstress,beingastateofdormancytoescapefromthe
rigorousenvironment.Theresearchcanprovidescientificbasisforseeddevelopmentandstresstolerance
science.
