Abstract:Amygdalin contents of seeds from 8 Species, 2 varieties and 1 form of plants of the genus Prunus were determined by TLC-densitometry. It was found that the highest being in the seed of Prunus sibirica, followed by P.mandshurica, P.armeniaca var. ansu, P. armeniaca, P. armeniaca f.pendula,P.tangutica, P.nana, P.triloba var.diplopetala, P.triloba,P.davidiana and P.persica in the order.
